I assume you used the AMS relocation line?

I went to buy one but not very enthusiastic about paying $15 for shipping on something that weights less than 1lb and has to travel a couple states over

 

not a bad spot... just a large strap tie? i like the spot... easy access...

also I will put the OEM thermostat back in when it starts to cool off... but I always warm up the car and it's running about 180~200 just driving normal... jumping on it lately and got it to 210 on the freeway... 85-100 mph... testing the BOV and the gauges etc...

all in all with PPI and Pure tuning in OH I have a rock solid EVO 8...I just want to move the oil pressure unit... now i have some idea's up high strap tied to the wall or the anti-lock brakes...

 

Ted comes up with some good idea's. The oil sender in the back of the engine bay is another one.

 

Are these systems reading oil temps before, or after the oil cooler? Shouldnt you know what your temps are at the oil cooler OUTLET? I have seen various companies sell oil temp gauges that get the readings from the oil filter housing, but unless Im mistaken isnt that before the oil has passed through the cooler?
