45K out of the advans, damn. I've owned 2 evos and the first one I had to change the advans at like 12K and the second at like 15K. They must have looked like racing slicks by 45k. Have yet to replace a stock clutch on either car. First one had 90K when I sold it and my IX has 38K on it now. I know now that I said that my clutch is going to go out on me any day now.

I have QM on my wish list - but not sure about dd with it, i drive my car about 23k miles a year. So still debating going with an act single or just ponying up for the QM.

I understand its overkill, but its a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a new clutch. I've been sitting at 300hp/tq for awhile now, and just feel more comfortable with that maintenance schedule.
I change out the diff fluid on that same schedule. Easier to just do it all while I"m under the car.

ive got 56k on my stock clutch. 03 VIII. sitting at about 300 WHP/WTQ I want to do s1 cams and a IX turbo but im afraid the clutch is going to go right after. Thats a lot of cash to drop at once.
I did just take the car down to NC and back from CT about 1500 miles for the entire trip. Performed with no problems. Even through some pretty nasty traffic trying to get onto the outer banks.
