I say go with the red. its a great all around turbo. u can track it or drag it. maybe even auto cross with it. good spool up. i think the car should have come with this turbo stock. it is also able to break the 500whp mark with no problem. do u really need more than 500+whp on the street? realistically, what can touch that other than another car worked to the max. I run 11.3 on snow tires. thats faster than a new GT-R, zo6, most Ferrari and i think as fast as a zr1. just my .02

My suggestion would be to use the ATP cast divided T3 adapter on the stock manifold (or get a twin scroll T3 mani) and use a Borg Warner S259 turbo in the .76AR hotside. It'll spool like the Red and give you more top end without running into boost taper. And you'll be set up to drop on an S362 if you decide you want more power later on.

I would go with the GT35, but the problem with it is you have to have your car setup right for it. It works better with a built engine and stage 2 cams, without it you'll have some lag. But I don't have the 2.3 yet so I have some lag, but with S2 cams, upgraded springs and retainers my car is a beast. I haven't had any real competition yet. Here's a little vid of me taking off without really getting on it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2smgUT0MJxs But then again if you get the red, you're one less car I have to worry about beating me on the highway :P

go with the 35r i have one and the lag is not that bad IMO, a local guy with a red and very similar mods tuned by the same tuner on the same dyno on the same gas made around 70hp less using more boost then me by about 2psi. the way i see it is that the red isnt a awesome turbo till you throw race gas at it and high boost, plus some people are having surging issues with the new 80mm red. ive seen more amazing things from the green on pump or the BBK turbo which i would recomond if your looking at something stock frame. plus price, my 35r cost 1300, while a red costs 1700 and has a 8 week wait at a min. in the end the costs dont seem worth it.

It's simple FP red is all that on the stock block. Get the 35r if your planning a serious build. The HTA 3582 will give you more pwr and have just a little more lag than the red.
