Where to place resonator?

I'm currently running the works catback(garbage btw) with their muffler delete. It has a resonator that's just after where the cat/tp is. It's busted and making a little noise so I plan to replace it or possibly just remove it. In theory I would think that it won't cause very much back pressure but could very well cause a decent amount of turbulence. Being mid stream it's really not that far from the turbine and could cause a small loss in power based off that alone. So what should I do? Replace it, remove it, or relocate it to the rear? The car is on a bbk full at about 28psi on e85 100% of the time if that makes any difference.

Why do you think it is garbage? Care to comment. In my opinion it is very nice.
