Anyone make an air filter heat shield?

I did mine with a piece of aluminium sheet. Juz a simple piece of shield & I believe that should do the job of keeping the heat away from the filter.

motox, have you logged any differences with that setup in place?
I got a sheet of 22awg today to try and make something simple until Indy gets something in place to sell.
Is yours pressure fit? or bolted in somewhere?

Have not got a chance to meet up with my tuner to data log this current setup. Will probably do so when I go for my next retune when I upgrade my cams.

Its bent in a "L" shaped & a hole is drilled at the bottom part. Its secured to the chassis frame with a bolt.

Was thinking of covering up the top portion as well but the Blitz filter was way too big... ...

That looks a million times better then the AEM heat shield, might have to make one.

steve93talon built a nice looking box for his car. he was parked next to you at the Ridley park dsm meet in the black evo. I have pictures of it on my other computer i'll have to try and get them online at some point.
