i just had the car roll about 5 mph and put it in 5th gear and floor it, usually you can see if the clutch is slipping by doing that. if the clutch is on its way out, you would see the rpm going up while the car still rolls slowly, if the clutch is okay the car would bog and feel like its going to stall.
This will only tell you if your clutch is extremely toast. There is little-to-no load on the car at 5 mph in 5th gear.

Anyway, it sounds like you just glazed it over. Keep driving NORMAL and post in a couple days.

ive been driving carefully and the clutch seems to be fine...i shifted at all different rpm ranges and everything seems to be good. but seriously for the people buy an evo...its a different kind of beast and drive carefully. thanks for the input everyone
