Setting the TPS

Trying to tune my car, having the problem of setting the tps, at idle the tps is reading .4volts which is what i believe should be at WOT.. How many volts should the tps read at idle is it 1 volt or something else?

"Connect a circuit tester between terminal 2 (TPS output)
and terminal 4 (earth) of the TPS to measure the output
voltage. Turn the TPS to a position where the output voltage
is within the standard value range, and secure the TPS there
by tightening the screw.
Standard value 0.535 − 0.735 V (I use .9K Ohms)
3. After tightening the screw, check the output voltage again. If
the voltage is out of the standard value range, loosen the
screw and adjust the TPS position for a proper output
voltage, then tighten the screw. If necessary, repeat the
adjustment until a correct voltage is reached."

if you can still see the original witness marks from teh screw onto teh tps, do your best to line them up again.....

otherwise, here is a diagram for how i set all of my tps's too....virtually the same info listed above, but this helps for people who are more visual.

Okay i have a circular plate that holds down the tps to the throttle body(pic 1), it has 7mm bolt holes to hold down the tps and 10mm bolt holes to hold the plate down to the throttle body. my tps is set at .5volts but i can not line the bolt holes up with the pre set holes on the throttle body.
