They'll take care of you 100% it's there goof. No reason to be hostile to them on the phone either. Just call them and explain what happened. They have to fix it no question

I'll add another vote that FP will take care of you. Yes, it is unfortunate that this mistake happened in the first place, but now, understandably, the only goal is to get it resolved quickly. Good luck with all of it.

Here's how to check to know what you have:

Do a 0-60 forwards.
Do a 0-60 backwards.

If the backwards is faster than the forward, you have the reversed wheel.

Seriously, FP will be mortified that their QC didn't catch that, and take care of you pronto. Let us know if that's not exactly what happens.

Couldn't let this go from a technical standpoint.

A reversed wheel still has the air coming in the same way. It just would be inefficient to the point you'd get little or no boost. It would not "suck the air out of your motor"...

That is a problem, you wont be able to make more that about 4-5psi with it like that (dont ask me how I know). We will get that replaced right away! You bought it thru another vendor and we are communicating with them now about how to get you handled the fastest way possible!

We have dome a lot to get the lead times down from 6+ weeks to only a few weeks at this time, even a couple weeks in some cases.

Sorry for the mistake, we do make them sometimes! But dont fear, we'll get you fixed up in a hurry!

Robert

To be fair, it isn't resolved until the new (correct) turbo is in the hands of the OP, but, as mentioned by many of us in this thread that have dealt with FP in the past, things are/were going to be taken care of.

You guys are looking at it all wrong...

It's a RED...

You have to look at it from a Space-Time-Continuum perspective. Once you get the 1.21 JiggaWatts needed to break the speed of light, that turbo will be spinning the right direction!
