my friend just got his turbo , the 80mm and we noticed that the blade direction on compressor is the oppiste way on this new turbo , u can see on the pics , how directions on the blade are totally oposite , is this normal ????????????

No idea. This makes me want to go check my FP Red I have sitting in a box.

 

Compare the exhaust side too

 

maybe thats the problem everyone is having with the turbos.....hahahahaha!!!!

That looks like a big fat oops!!! Im guessing you got a X wheel accidently put on an 8/9 red......

 

would be a good idea for people to go check

ur right its the evo X i just compared on a pic on an evo X and they turn in same direction

 

Thats why I suggested it... the X spins the opposite direction from the 8/9, the same direction as the old 1st and 2nd gens.... I would guess the wheels are the same size and it would be very easy to make an oops....

The good thing is FP is first class and will get you taken care of just give them a call or PM.

this is not what i had in mind , waited alot for this and now i was an install away from spinning that turbo in a crazy evo oposite direction , i wonder if this big oooopppppsssss has happend to anyone else

 

$100 bucks, says FP will blame you for it some how....
