Coolant issues

This is the second time i come across this problem.

I randomly give my car a WOT 3rd gear pull and i burst a coolant line, 1st time i busted the rubber coolant line that goes to the turbo. And now it looks to be a coolant line running behind the valve cover, ill find out tomorrow which 1.

But point is has anybody else had these problems? and is there a solution to this like replace all the rubber hoses with Braided lines, or is it because my lines are 6 years old cuz i have an 03 evo? Or is it because its time to upgrade my radiator + lines?

It could be like you said they're just old rubber lines. If they're getting dry and cracked, I'd go ahead and replace them all. The radiator shouldn't need replacing, the lines would though. I'm wondering if you're busting leaks because of the pressure, are you sure the headgasket isn't blown?

well i replaced the hose, and checked the valve cover and have not found any signs of a leak. So i guess its just old hoses

Make sure you let the car run for a little bit with the heat on and the cap off with a funnel on it to get all the air bubbles out.

wot and you ripped a hose off! wow. how are your motor mounts? excess engine movement can cause it if it moves enough.
