Holy Moly Donut Shop!! Excellent product, another go at short route vertical intercoolers... Full-Race had tried something out, but stopped offering the product through their website (who know?).
Question: Is your ETS Upper Intercooler Pipe designed with the stock battery in mind? I have an Optima, and I don't really want to run a battery relocation. I know you guys offer this EXACT product for the horizontal intercoolers, but I imagine different piping will have to be used for this setup. From everything else I've read, the spool is helped out with a vertical intercooler too BTW, thanks again.

This unit is 100% custom, we can build another one.. but the bumper will require a bit of trimming on the top and the bottom and the crash beam will need trimming or removed. This is a complete custom build, i'm sure we will see pics up shortly.

I can build this unit in a 3.0" and 3.5" that will fit a little better. The vertical flow needs to be thick to do the shop.

Thanks!

Horizontal has more travel to cool off on the Evo bumper. Which design is better? I thought horizontal was better due to the longer travel on the core.

So what would be the point of this? "UICP" will be shorter but the "LICP" will be longer...any pics with the piping installed/bumper on??

Vertical flow means more bars to flow across, so although the charge air spends less time moving through the core there are more bars to heat up. Also comparing both types of cores, if they have the same area, they have the same cooling capacity. The advantage of vertical flow is that you have less pressure drop and it will flow more. Better spool up, more torque because better spool, better response etc

^ Pictures of the piping?

Im interested in a setup for my car.. What are the benefits?

At the moment Im running a Trust Spec-M cooler, with 3" custom piping.

Im about to order your short length upper intercooler pipe to try and help with spool, but I would be interested in the cooler + pipes.. How much? Is it worth the cost of changing it over?
