I am looking at different manual boost controlers and I can't deside on which one to get. What boost controlers do you use now or have used in the past and how did you like them? Any that you think I should stay away from and why? Any help is great thanks

I use the Hallman Pro but for those that use the GM 3-port, how does it work exactly?

Also use the gm bcs here. Usually see a high 23 psi to 24 psi to redline. It holds 29-30 psi right to about 5-5.5k then drops from there.

Started off with a Greddy EBC and it would not boost over 23psi. Switched to a Forge MBC and am boosting 26psi and holding 24psi to redline.

I have a Blitz EBC I will be selling that soon and installing a 3 port solenoid. On my red turbo I should be able to hold 28psi to redline

How difficult is the GM 3-port to tune with the stock ecu? I have a hallman pro to install but am considering selling and buying the GM 3-port. Is the main benefit being able to setting boost higher in the mid range then tapper to lower at the high end?

Load based.

Works almost like stock solenoid but lets you get more psi. You need to tune for it.

Also GM 3port and JDM MAP (or Evo X MAP) you can have a full ECU based boost controller

Dejon tool. Best $50 to spend for an easy and quick boost in hp. I rocked it for 4 years without needing adjusting.
I have since switched back to the stock solinoid and a restrictor pill so the cops can't say anything.
