2010 all out build

Its been over a year since I rocketed my rod thru tha backside of my block on a 10 degee winter night. Ive started my rebuild process a month ago and I have almost everything I need to get started. So here goes the plans for my new build. Keep in mind I want the car to be street legal(minus the exhaust) so I need to keep the stock ECU.

BR stage 3 2.0
custom head with supertech springs, retainers, and valves bronze guides
comp 280/280 cams
sparktech ignition non cdi
FP red 80mm ported w 25LBS wastegate
shearer tubular exhaust mani
65mm tb
MAP rev 3 IM
BR race FM with 2.5' pipes
BR 3'exhaust/cat delete
MAP downpipe 02 housing delete/02 dump pipe
BR double pumper
1200cc injectors
Shep trans
shep stage 3 t-case
exedy triple plate clutch
hoosier DR w 15.5LBS rims
Gutted car

I think thats about it. Im extremely excited about the build. My biggest issue right now is finding a tuner. I want to use e85 and also have a map for 93OCT. I had a crappy UTEC that I used to tune on, but I want to get a tune as good as my parts list.

Anyways, I have high hopes for the car on e 85. I really want to push it to the max. I had a 35r before and I chose this turbo because I want to stay in the good power band without having to rev the car to 8500rpms. As I build Ill update you all and eventually post some pics. Im all ears for a good tuner. Im willing to travel a little.

Nice List but its not all going getting the non CDI sparktech and an fp red . If you were to do that build and stay on a big turbo like a 35R it would make more hp all day long t hen any fp red could and the HTA35's or 6262 would make more.

I may someday go with a bigger turbo someday. but for now my goals are to see how far I can push this set up. When I feel bored who knows where Ill go. I feel like 550-600whp will be enough and will last a while with this set up.

I think you will be dissapointed going from a 35r to a Red. Kelford over comp cams, might as well get a buschur ignition and get a deal as you are getting a bunch of stuff from them anyway, no offense to the sparkech product, just saying might as well stay all buschur for the support

Ive had a lot of success with my comp cams. I love the idle and I went from a 12.7 best(best trap 107) to a 12.1 (113.8)with no change in timming or boost. with just the cams minus 100LBS of wieght. After looking at them in detail, I think there very under rated as a cam for this car. I dont know the specs for the BR 272's, or kelford's but I know that these cams have more lift and duration than HKS 280's. And the price blows all cams away. Im not switching the cams for now. I already Have the sparktech unit along with all the parts Ive spoke about. I know Ive gone smaller on the turbo but with a goal of 550-600whp on e85, I figured the lag from the 35r had me choose the red. I want to be able to cruise around on the street with this power. Plus its a lot easier to launch with less lag.

Just so you know 550-600 goal on red is pretty high #'s first off.... will require lots of boost and lots of boost on red = a red that wont last long... Stay on the 35R running 30lbs will make those #'s all day and spool around 4000ish and pull great to 9,000 with that motor/head combo
