This is what I wanted to read. I have a new found confidence to make this happen. Maybe I should take pictures and attempt a how to. I am in no hurry.

no problem man, Have you ever disengaged the TOB before. Its was a huge PITA the 1st time I did it because the instructions where tough to understand. It is one of those things you can spend 30 seconds on or two hours on. I recommend doing it as early in the process of removing the transmission as possible. Also once you re install the tranny make sure you snap the TOB back in before you put anything else back together, if for some reason there is an issue you wanna know then before you have to take stuff back apart (experience talking there).

Also a lil trick is to use the wave springs from your old clutch and add them too the ones that came with your new clutch, the thought is the added pressure keeping the clip in its seat makes it less likely to fail and allow the TOB to pull away from the pressure plate.

Not sure about the TOB ill search and see what I find after work. Unless you know a link that would help inform me. I gonna be pulling the head this weekend and do pretty much everything (head gasket,studs,timing belt,pulleys,cam gears,cams) I know I leaving stuff out but you get the point.
