Add it all up and its only 8 evos total in an 8 hour day - unlike regular safc and stand alone tunes for example which we can get in like 12 - 15 in one 12 hour day

But according to the bell curve for every retarded 205 - 210 whp slow poke evo that dont make any power you will have one mega strong evo that makes craxy power like this one - and of course most evos you find have beteween 225 to 240 whp - thats the average
The important point to note is that irrespective of HOW much hp the evo makes when it comes in - they ALL make between 20 - 28 whp gain in peak whp AFTER they get Dyno Flashed.
Whats super important to note is that the slow evos and the fast evos need drastically different fuel AND ign timing to get a good, safe, street tune. These variations, which have been well documented, render the Evo particularly UNSUITED to through the mail or off the shelf retune maps.
Sorry for "brand X" - but there is NO safe way to market a reflash that makes any power - it is just impossible to do it in a safe and controlled manner without taking BIG risks on the client's cars

hey al
Im just wondering, but does the cooler weather have an impact too? Also, if you had more time with each car, do you think its possible to get the power up for each car in terms of max power stock for stock?

Let me say one thing , HOLY SH*T!!
the power under initial acceleration and boost is unreal now.
She pulls all the way past redline. Before it was like she was dragging. But damn she's got life in her now!
Al thanks for everything and guys this guy does some great work. He really takes the time to get things right for you.
If anyone gets a mod done that is VERY WELL WORTH the money, then this is the way to go.
After some exhaust and intake work, along with a boost controller i will go back to see what she does.
Damn i love this car!!

We do spend LOTS of time with each car - sometimes up to 2 1/2 hours - we spend as long as it takes to strike the perfect balance between power and saftey !
We were hoping by this point to have several standard maps developed which could enable us to quickly tune each car - HOWEVER - we are seeing that to get the perefct tune each Evo is neededing a totally unique balance of fuel and timing
Basically the way it has gone the past two weeks a lof of the Evo owners are paying just enough to cover the regular cost of the dyno time spent tuning their cars
We are still very happy as so far not one person has been disatisfied with the reflash and requested a refund - which we offer on an unconditional basis

His car only left with 248 HPpeak - one of the lowest performing Dyno flashes ever - despite the much colder air
The biggest variable is the individual car - they really have a HUGE variance
for all you non-believers in this forum, i was one of the people up there yesterday. it's true that lucky sob got 280 from a stock evo.
did my car also was nowhere near the gain's he got, but am very happy with the improvments. my car now pulls to 7000 smoothly with out power loss after 5000 or so.
Al good job yesterday, very happy happy with the quality of service you provide. this is the silver evo that kept you there till 9:00, thanks.
for all you people having doubts of this man, don't, he knows what he is doing, and is very profesional, he will not comprimise the saftey of you and your engine to squeeze every little hp out of your engine, he makes sure the car is running safe before you leave.

Man, why can't you come up to the NW and do a dyno day!? It sucks, everything seems to be in the midwest or in southern Cali.

Hmmm....I wonder what the variance is for the difference in HP for these cars. A difference of around 60whp is a lot (I'd be pissed if my car was a slow EVO). Anyone have any ideas?
The reason I ask is when the variance is caused by a boost leak (or any kind of leak), or different boost level, I wouldn't be so worried or discouraged since it can be fixed, but if it's just uncorrectable variances and I had the slow 200-210whp EVO, I might as well sell it and look for a higher HP evo somehow rather then spend cash to make it similar to a higher HP evo (since it's potential is greater). I'm sure Al checks if the car is fine before the tune, but I'm so puzzled by the difference in HP...a difference of 10-20 would be ok, but 60?
Let's say you modded your car as much as you can with a stock turbo and you find that a stock car does faster E.T.'s ...wouldn't you be discouraged to mod your car any further?
Hey Al, I went to Etown last wednesday to run the car stock before any modifications. Ran a 13.7@99mph on a 1.9 60ft (full tank of gas and getting used to the EVO launches). I was hoping I'd see you there...but came back and read about your clutch problems...I guess next time. I'll be contacting you soon for the Dynoflash...

Wussup guys I was the white evo there.
I pulled 302.5whp with the dyno flash I'll post my chart soon. AL I figured out why the boost came on so weak. Its cause the EBC start boost was 1.10 bar. I set it at 1.5 and now its even sicker. Thanks again.
My mods:
Cusco Induction Arm
RMR filter
Lineage grounding kit
B&B turbo back (stock cat)
Grebby profec spec B-II
Forge DV (yellow spring no shims)
HKS TT
SS clutch line
SAFC II (set on 0)
Walbro 255 lph
I pulled 277 with these mods and after the flash 302.5. Most importantly I gained a ton top end where I needed it and my A/F was 10.2 at 6500 RPM, nice and safe.
I saw that stock evo on the dyno and I can verify that yes it pulled those numbers and yes al was surprised. Pruven plus AL ROCKS!!!!
