Maybe your gauge is calibrated wrong... Mine reads 10-15 at idle and 19.5 peak.

if they calibrated to 10-15 at idle, do you think my boost PSI will increase?

I've never had a autometer gauge, always ran with Apex or Greddy, but I have seen them and they don't look like the best put together gauges. There are many factors to not running a "good" boost number, maybe you have a small leak when you installed your gauge?

vERY simple fix, I had the same exact problem. The stock IC clamps are not tight enough and leak out, just open your hood, take off your stock Ram air intake, and tighten all the clamps you see as tight as you can, wala, 19psi.

last time i used an autometer boost gauge it was roughly 2 psi off... when shutting the car off the needle didn't even sit at 0, i'd highly recommend sticking with JDM gauges.
