Nice job with the name calling. I'm so glad i'm still in school as it is conducive to my english since I can conjugate my second language better than you. I hope I get a cookie btw(oatmeal raisin please). The term "surface area" relates to how much of the object is exposed to ambient air when used in conjuction with FMICs. You're using the term as it were an 2-d object - the total area within boundries let's say lines of a rhombus. This isn't geometry class! I'm not trying to start a pointless internet duel. I just don't want misinformation on the internet - unfortuanately this is impossible as we can only reduce it.

Does outside air not pass through the intercooler? ummmm YES it does so point blank its surface area!!! Now stop and think if thickness doesnt matter why do all the name brands carry 4"+ thick intercoolers? If thickness didnt matter they wouldnt spend more money on material an cut out profit. You guys need to go back to school, you deffinately slept through geometry class.

That's not true at all, although its true that size is only one of the factors, there are some very fast EVOs running 4.5" and 5-6" Intercoolers now.

ASAP

OP, please use the search feature, as the merits of FMICs has been discussed at length repeatedly. You've narrowed your search to two products; it should not be hard to find the relevant information to narrow it to one.

The three of you arguing like 6 year olds - I think there's a genuine lack of understanding of how radiators work, as it's not really a geometry problem, as well as a lack of understanding of our rules.
