I hate that dynosheet. You got no power at top or in the low range. All the sudden you hit full boost and tons of torque and HP but what about the before and after. That redline shows the power is falling on its face... no thanks!!

holy crap 8.5k rpm on a stroker motor! and peak torque at ~5575rpm i would have expected a better curve as well. i'm sure it will improve

And thats even with assistance from the 2.3. This turbo doesn't look promising for the 2.0.

FYI-i don't think it's called the BBK-XL

I should have asked Chad that the other day. I mentioned in the initial post (XL) and it seems people are running with it

boost level is unknown. never mentioned in any of the threads i looked at. I would guess around 30psi since it is on unleaded race gas.

I hate when they put out a new product and then release results of it that were produced on a fully modded car. I would like to see what is does with just supporting mods.

I think that black dyno graph is more than 30psi from what I remember. With lower boost and a 2.0l, the graph will have a more gradual climb. 525whp at 8500rpms on a stroker is nothing to sneeze at.

/\ agreed...

I'm not sure why people are complaining about that dyno curve. Its a stroker motor guys! The dyno was ran out to 8500 rpm or so...most will not turn that much rpm on a 2.3.

Not only that the Cobb dyno is set up to read like a DJ, so take it for what its worth.

Sir, I believe that may be incorrect.

Yeah but take into account that it is on a stroker, and then put it on a 2 liter and u are moving the the curve to the right from slower spool which will give even less usable power except for the last 2000 rpms. To me that's not impressive. As I saId before I'm sure the drag racing fans will think otherwise but that's not my preferance. As a daily driver I think there is better options for that power level especially since the car is maxed out from the mod standpoint, unless I was misinformed.

I'm not "in the know", but that car i believe is Robert's and is FAR from maxed out. Heck, look at the pic, you can clearly see it still is running a factory upper IC pipe
I could be wrong though......

Put a stock evo IX on that dyno and if it reads 220-230 with no adjustment I will eat my words. Until then stock turbo cars making 400whp on pump gas non-e85 on that dyno tells me it reads like a DJ.

Actually you want me to case in point this?

Show me a 73HTA Green make 450 on 93 pump on any other proper reading mustang dyno. Straight off the FP website.
