i dont sit on evom and read what setup will be able to take down z06's but i know youd have to be on e85 or race gas plus ***** to the wall tune for a red to take down a nicely modded z06 or zr1

yeah iam in the same boat, i mean iam not knocking any red green or black turbo but i just love the g-force pull/ put into seat feel of the hta 35r evevn on topend near 7/8/9 k rpm i love that it doesnt fall off. now ive never been in a well equiped red car so i cant say that would do that same but its just carzy to think it would since its on a stock framed size turbo

 

You never mentioned a "nicely modded" z06 or zr1. You said z06 or zr1 territory. 2 very different things.

I have a red on pump + meth putting down 470 to the wheels and it is not an overly aggressive build (I have smaller cams, and a cat ffs!). My car will "take down" a stock z06 at the strip, and would hang close to the zr1. Er...it would if I wasnt on the factory clutch! (again, not an overly aggressive build)

One thing that I'm not sure you realize is that for the excess that has been put into the zr1 and for as much money as it costs over the z06, it is only a bit quicker at the strip. It still has to hook up RWD, an issue that we don't have. Now, if either of those cars are "nicely modded" and this is at a roll on the highway then as stated, that is a very different conversation. And one not to be had on EvoM!

 

David (Buschur), can you tell us if the black is stock frame?

 

dammit i just bought my fp red this summer and now the black is coming out. the fp red is going to be worth about 800 bucks when this thing comes out. im excited to see this bad boy

I think I might pull the trigger and preorder one. I'm going to be on 93 for awhile I guess I'll go for the 18psi wga. I'll still be watching close for updates

 

if your going to preorder you better do it now otherwise the sixflag lines starts. Just like the red will be months before you will get one so call them or email them to get added now
