Any new FP-BLK or BBK-XL info????
Jeff
on another note if that is 38 psi it's even less impressive. Why do people test to promote products with such non real world info???

keep in mind here...much information is not known....unless I have missed it. Like seeing the boost plot for one. If the boost does hit 38psi I am willing to bet there is a big taper which explains why the torque drops the way it does. I know for a fact from our conversations Roberts car is far from maxed out.
We build strokers on a weekly basis, they are recommended to be run to 8500 rpm. They will make power all the way to that point. Check for a dyno sheet of Project White or Shepherd's or Nick Andy's for proof of that.
I also agree, Cobb's dyno definetely doesn't read any numbers close to what our dyno does, I'd agree with being close to a Dynojet.
I wish I could spill the beans on the black
It's looking pretty good though, I can tell you that. Information will be released when FP is ready to fill orders, just waiting for the "go" to release our information.

I wonder what they are doing to prevent massive surge. It's pretty dang terrible on the red if you drive it "right." Not knocking it, it's a hell of a turbo, and I know the 80mm compressor housing helps a bit, but bumping up to 70 lb/min seems like there would be absolutely no way around it. At that point, why not just go with an actual 35R framed HTA.
^you could hang it from the rearview mirror?
Back on topic - I don't know why people get bent on pre-release info (after reading the whole thread). I'm sure it will be a rockin' turbo, based on historical data. Should you get in the lineup based on the hype? I suppose that depends on where you happen to be in your build - it certainly might be worth waiting at this point before deciding on a new turbo.
