Verify cams..

So i'm going to pick up some used BC 272's and I wanted to know is there a way to verify that they are not stock cams, but rather the brian crowers?

If they are B/C cams they will NOT be hollow like the stock cams. Also, from my limited experience installing them I believe you need the bolt that holds the cam sensor reluctor on the end of exhaust cam because they use a bolt with smaller thread (I think it's 8mm and stock is 10mm)and the stock retaining bolt will NOT work.

That doesn't mean anything. A tuned stock evo can beat a c6. The BC cams do suck. They make much less power than other cams. And they're manufactured crappy, with inconsistencies with their measurements.

Weird. I installed some BC 280's on my evo 8, and they used the same stock bolt. But I had some mystery cams out of my buddy's evo 8, and they had a smaller CAS bolt like you're saying. They must be the BC's.
