personally even with 500whp, a 3" system chould be more than enough for your needs...

i chose the AMS myself... and will add their 3" DP when it becomes available... the sound is intoxicating...

I appologize for the inconvinience, about those 30 minutes. Personally in your case, I will recommend the B&B full turbo exhaust, sounds great, the gain is tremendous as well, the price is also below the one you will pay for the Apex exhaust, which is for the Evo7 and I have not seen a car with that exhaust until now.

Thank you

Andy

just to add, 3.75" exhaust will have disadvantages. the added diameter might give you a better top end but it will take away from you low end. i really think that an exhaust in that size is overkill and useless unless you are goinng all out (not daily driven).

You are right about that, if you are looking at some real power - 600whp and up, go for the bigger exhaust, in this case 3.75" exhaust will be too small. In this case you are looking for custom made 4" exhaust, like it is the case with our red Evo. Then you do not have to go back and front to change it again and again. For a daily driver, 3" fits perfect.

I see your point, like i said before the R95 is better for mid to top end, but the power of this exhaust will come right after 4,000 rpm, and for Evo 7 full boost starts just right after 3,500. So we are talking about 500 rpm of turbo lack from the stock car. But then again, with this exhaust it will pull strongly from 4,000rpm till you hit the rev limiter at 7850.

I was abit sceptical at first but, what the hack, I will just give it try. I have no regret for the R95, but since getting another unit will take me about 2 month and also this unit is really loud and I don't intend to wake my neighbours after midnight, i decided to get quieter unit from HKS. Trust me i have tried this exhaust and performs much much better than the HKS Hi-power which is a 3" unit.
