If I remember correctly when I switched to the M2's I gained like 20 or 22 whp on DTM's Mustang dyno. This is an average to low reading mustang dyno. As far as the upgrades to the springs and retainers, if you put cams that have higher than 10.8mm of lift you "must" upgrade the springs and retainers. I put must in quotes because no matter how much you should some whiz-bang back yard idiot with a toolbox will say "I put them in on stock springs and retainers and everything was fine" but what you aren't hearing is the problems he/ she runs into down the road.

I believe David Buschur had some customs spec secret squirell cams in the BadBish for a little while but when there was an oiling failure and it whipped the lobes or cam journal, he went back to what he called his "smaller BF 272" He does make awesome power with them though.

RockmanX I'm getting ready to check my PM now, the internet is so slow here in Afghanistan it may take a bit for the response to come through.

A lot of people use supertech whether it be DSM or hondas, etc.. Great company. I was considering BR spring and retainers..

Thanks! I'm trying. BAPS (Ballistic Armor Protection System) saved my a$$ the other day, literally!!! We were flying in to pick up some injured Marines and an insurgent was shooting at us from a heavily grown over field. Hit the aircraft several times, one of which was directly under my seat (right crewchief/ door gunner seat). I thought I was done! checked my butt, no blood, checked my buddy, no blood, all is good! The ground guys called in some Marine Cobras and I'm sure they made that guy have a very bad day!

Kelford 272 or the buschur spec cams IMO. I have had a great success with both.

You wouldn't happen to have a dyno graph of the BR spec cams would you? How is the driveability with them? Idle rough? Lopie? Etc?

EDIT: the graph finally appeared. HKS 272 456 HP over the stock cams 418 HP. So there is my answer, Im looking at another 44+ HP by switching to the Kelfords!!! WOW

Remember, those gains are on a 35R, ported head, and IIRC fairly high boost. Pump gas and smaller turbo, less mods, don't count on 44whp It's all about percentages.

I mentioned them before and think its worth mentioning again, I went with the GSC Beehive springs that use the stock retainers. I don't think there is a better bang/buck out there, esp if you are on stock bottom-end and don't plan to rev over 8500-ish.

$220 www price, I'm sure they can be had for a bit less than that if you ask nice
