its better if you leave the stock 9 bov and run an open element air filter so you can hear the stock 9 bov and turbo

hks vta is terrible and if the car doesnt cut out the rpms will dip very low i have it on my car what a pos...the only thing its good for is turning heads and scarring the cr*ap out of people!

Not being a dumbass and recirculating >> all. The ECU ASSUMES that unmetered air isn't going to be dumped to atmosphere for a damn good reason!

 

To the OP did you try the HKS stabilizer? I got one on the way hoping that will fix the rpm bog down and almost stalling the car. To Hang & SQT pretty: is the car still running fine with the HKS EIDS?

 

need to recirculate or fail...the stabilizer seems to work for ppl too...ill buy your OEM BOV from you if you are not goin to use it...message me if you wanna get rid of it

By far the worst, but somehow the most popular BOV...
Metal Evo 9 DV and open air filter element will yield similar "sounds" without stalling, low boost flutter, rough idle, and general drive-ability issues.

 

I dont understand why the hks is weird on evos...People dont recirculate the tial, And it works fine...Not arguing or anything, But does anyone know WHY it does this? Just curious. My friends got the hks on his 9 and has no issues, may have the fix though because the bov came on the car.
