I had a tough time trying to replace the doughnut gasket for the downpipe up by the o2 housing. Does anyone know of a trick for getting it out when it doesnt want to slide out?

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Pry-bar with a 90* end to it or flathead screwdriver. Start at the seam and pull down 360* until you've worked it all off.

I tried pry bars, screwdrivers, hook tools. damn thing was stuck on there when I was trying to install my new exhaust setup. I had all new bolts and gaskets. I couldnt get that damn dougnut gasket off and didnt want to ruin it and still have it stuck on there so I ended up reusing it. It ended up being fine, but I would like to know how you guys did it. There isnt a whole lot of room to fit anything to really pry on either.

Usually a screw driver right between the gasket and the 02 housing does the trick, try hitting it in with a hammer then prying down. Work all the way around until its lose then give her hell.

If that doesn't work try a air hammer lol.
