Is there any work in the head? what set up are you running? Are you making power up in the rpm range?

8000 is safe. 8300 on smaller cams isnt stretching it too much. Anytime you do it there is always the risk but I went 55k with no problems revving 8k+ on the shortblock. The head did recieve upgraded valvesprings.

Not that I would recommend it but I have been to 9k plus over and over again. But then again, My motor took a dump and almost 50k miles.

based on your name i am guessing your from Trinidad?

are u tuned? the RA ecu does next to nothing in terms of a tune.

your on stock springs i would not recommend going over 8000.

i have a map for your car if you like.

We have a customer's 9 stock longblock and just M2 cams and we are starting to notice signs of valvefloat up around 7600rpm.

He runs an ETS 30R kit @ 29psi

^^ depends on the cams and the profile of them..

HKS cams are known to have "gentle lift" but long durations.

cosworths like kelfords are the other way around.
