Injector Resistor Evo VIII 2003
Injector Resistor Evo VIII 2003
Has anyone ever heard of a fuel injector resistor in the Evo V111? It's a stock part came with the car. I need one and the dealers in ma have never heard of it. Anyone know where i can get one? Thanks Sumarez.

are you talking about the injector resistor box ? if so it is located right by the abs unit.. If it is faulty you will get inconsistant voltage values at the plug end that goes to the injector.
I know this, because my car ran on 3 cylinders, before we figured out that the resistor box was bad..
hope that helps

what voltage do the plugs need to have ?? i tried reading mines and they were 13.9 volts
i have an evo 6 , we r having problems , it dosent want to turn on , beacuse we r not getting the injectors to spit the fuel
1. we are not 180 degrees off timming
2. we checked all sensor are getting signal
3. we have presure on fuel rail , cause we can see it on a guage we have
4. we have spark
5. we have new fuel pump
6.but the injectors have voltage , but they just dont spit FUEL

how are u seeing 13.9 volts if the car won't start ?
try doing this.. turn the car off.... on one prong of the injector hook it up to 12volt source and the other side attach some clips so that you can ground it out. then listen to see if the injector clicks... if it does then the injectors are working just fine...
Sounds like a bad crank angle/cam angle sensor, if it is not starting...
