Turboxs exhaust vs AMS exhaust

Hello,

I'm in a debate right now between the Turbo XS catback or the AMS catback. I can get either of them for $300.00.

I'm just looking for one with the deeper tone and less cabin drone. After doing some searching around some claim that the AMS doesn't drone at all whereas the Turboxs is real loud. Confused because the Turbo xs has a resonator and the AMS is just straight through.

Either one I go with it'll be paired with a Turbo xs downpipe and a megan resonated test pipe or HFC (haven't decided yet).

Any insight would be much appreciated

Also, I have a JDM IX Bumper on the way. I assume with either of these i'm going to have to cut it to fit.

Thanks

Pics of the actual exhaust:

Turbo XS (owner claims it's in perfect condition)

AMS (Spot a dent and rust near where the cat/test pipe connects)

i had the TXS for .. a week, uninstalled and sold it. went with AMS TBE (didnt like how it sounded, the TXS)

AMS has 3 bolt, so you wont be able to mix and match

yes, u will need to cut to tuck the muffler nicely under the JDM bumper

pic before cutting, thats how it will sit without modification

hope this helped... Search next time, AMS VS TXS exhaust thread is covered many times

I've got TurboXS, had it on for about two years. No complaints. It's not particularly loud, definitely does not drone. Only issue with me is that it generally sits quite low (every part of it from the downpipe right to the muffler... it clears the undercarriage by a fair margin, ideally it'd sit a bit closer).

No idea how it compares to AMS though, I think it'd be safe to say there isn't a single AMS exhaust in Australia?
