Flywheel scare

long story short. my car is at the dealership due to and insurance claim and thery took a look at the clutch and said that it need one and the flywheel was damaged and they could not resurface it. my bog question is....i had bought an act clutch and fidanza flywheel to take to them. pretty much the same set up ive run in my 1g and 2g talon's. He told me there is a big chance of the flywheel making my timing belt come apart due to the weight difference of the stock flywheel to the aluminum one. he said that when the motor revs up that the diffence in the weight would make the motor rev up to fast for the timing belt to handle. he said that this was brought up in tech school mitsu sends him to. is this BS or what? ive never had this hapen before and im not a noobie on mechanics, i have ten years experience and this guy was talking to me like i was a ten yr old.

thank you, i agree. this guy is a certified tech at one of the local mitsu dealers. im 27 years old and i dont think he is older than me. it kinda scared me there for a second but with everything ive done with dsm's ive never heard of this hapening. my insurance is paying for a brand new short block, their goin through the head, new oil pump, and balance shafts. i just wanted to hear it from someone else that guy is full of it. i dont want any chance of something stupid hapening and they void my warranty due to a flywheel
