FP HP WGA questions....

Just got some stuff from FP, including the HP WGA. Now Im fitting this on my FP Red and the arm does not line up with the wastegate arm on the hotside when it is bolted to the compressor. Is this normal, are you supposed to bend the WGA arm onto the wastegate arm?

With the WGA connected to the arm

With it disconnected

The WGA and Arm not lining up...

If I'm not mistaken the entire arm that leads to the actuator can be rotated. So try rotating it untill it fits.

You shouldn't have to bend sh*t. Send the pic to Robert at FP and get his opinion. What WGA did you order anyway? Perhaps you got an VIII actuator by mistake.

Like Blu said, it should just rotate.

This is incorrect. No attempt should be made to rotate the actuator rod axially.

Only the turnbuckle on the end of the actuator rod rotates. The actuator rod itself does not rotate.

Have you attempted to loosen the bolts holding the wastegate to turbo then attaching arm and re-tightening?

Well on the rod itself there is a slot where you would put a wrench on to turn the wastegate arm, I adjusted it and it fits perfectly now.

Will you post up a pic of the slot on the actuator rod to which you refer. Glad that you solved it!

Yeah. That is not called a slot. It is the turnbuckle. It is internally threaded and rotates on the end of the externally threaded actuator rod.
