I think the fuel is causing the smoke and possible stalling, the untuned cams could be causing the bogging and poor idle. Finally the ****ty tune accounts for the fuel/boost cut and or all of the above.

You could take it to a dyno, that is a very viable solution. They should do everything for you, set the boost correctly, find and fix the problem and do the retune. It would be much easier to do that then find a wideband, log it all, send it in, and do multiple update flashes until its right, if they can even find out whats wrong with the car mechanically...

Yes, don't run it hard right off the bat. No tuner should just strap a car that is acting like yours on the dyno. They should drive it first, diagnose the problem, fix the mechanical problem. AFTER ALL THAT IS DONE, put a base tune for your mods on your car, then do a pull, tweak it and presto chango, your done.

I don't know, just go to them and ask for a quote. Since its your first visit and your first tune they might be nice and give you a break. They'll want your return business when you start heavily modding the car, haha.

If you need stock OEM WGA i have it , $40 shipped.

Yes fix mechanical problem first, than go and get tuned. Do not boost until fixed.

Let me explain. An automotive paint gun is supposed to work at say 35 psi and a compressor puts out maybe 100 psi. So, you need a regulator. Well, you can buy a tiny regulator with a gauge that screws right onto the handle of a paint gun.

Lets say you want to set the MBC to 25 psi. One way is to drive the car, adjust, drive the car, etc. Or, you can set the MBC before you put it on the car by using the regulator and gauge I wrote of above. Connect it to the MBC, set the regulator and adjust the MBC. This will cut way down on the number of adjustments needed on car and get you in the ballpark right away.

Alright, So I unhooked my MBC and ran straight Wastegate, The car can now run throw all the RPM's without a single bog, it run's great, it still tries to dye but that's the tune.

It's only allowing me to boost 11 PSI, normal?

Yes, 11psi is normal if you have a line hooked directly to the wastegate.

Don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds like you have no idea what you're doing and by continually messing with it like this, you are probably doing more harm than good. By harm, I mean potentially thousands of dollars worth of harm. Take your car to a qualified Evo shop in your area, tell them the problem and let them sort it out for you.

Don't take this the wrong way but I get told what to do by people who do know what there talking about (ya'll).

Obvously I correctly unhooked my MBC and hook everything back up correctly.

And I have a shop in AL that I got to cause I get everything done for free, and I'm going there for Thanksgiving, SO basically I was finding a non perminate solution, just to get me to AL.

Thanks though.

Alright, well this is just making sure your car doesnt die in the time being running around on crazy boost without a tune for it. Just take it easy on her and get her into the shop. I hope it all works out for you.

Negative ghostrider...

Just got tuning equipment, taking a log tomorrow, and then talking to an E-mail tuner for a tune to get me through this 850 mile drive.
