Help, Please...
Alright, here is whats going on...
My mods are listed below in my signature, I have installed new cams and fuel pump since my last tune:
But here is the problems:
No matter what I adjust my MBC to, I'll still read 30 PSI or more...
After I hit any kind of boost, my car well drop to 200-300RPM and start to die...
If I floor it, it feels like the fuel cuts off, and I have to let off the gas to get it back to running basically...
My car will bog, pretty hard, at a certain RPM range through every gear, usually 3000-4500RPM, but If i started adjusting my MBC, its adjusts what RPM it bogs at...
My service engine soon light came on, it read as my O2 sensor, but I figure its because I have no CAT...but why would it JUST NOW come on...
Also, this JUST started after I changed my oil and spark plugs, but IDK what it's called, but I have a pipe that just empties off under my car, I think it letrs out the pressure of my waste gate or IDK, but It randomly POORS dark smoke out of it..
I have done a boost leak test, and didn't find anything. I just changed my oil, and Got brand new Spark Plugs installed.
I know I need to get a re-tune, but I just want to know if cam's and a fuel pump well really screw my car up THIS bad untuned, or if there might be another problem.
Thanks for ANY help guys

Well a fuel pump will make you run pig rich if you are untuned. Take out the mbc and just connect the wastegate up and let it run wastegate pressure to see if it runs ok. Can you boost to 1 PSI? 10 PSI?
That tube that dumps out the bottom of your car is called a wastegate dump and it should not be dumping out dark smoke either. Is it black? Off white? What color is the "dark smoke" and when do you mean randomly? Randomly means you are sitting inside your house and your car dumps out smoke while sitting there...haha, kidding. Is it while sitting in the garage running? Under high boost? Do you see this smoke in your rearview mirror?
Pull your o2 sensor and look at it. Something you did may have caused a problem and could have screwed up your o2 sensor. You could have loosened something and forgotten. That dark smoke that is dumping out the bottom of your car is only one steel wall away from your o2 sensor so whatever is dumping out the bottom of your car is screwing up your o2 sensor also...

take pics of the area ur talkin about....first off with mbc.....what kind do u have? second try this trick to see if its the mbc dis connect it run a vacuum line off the turbo nipple to wastegate actuator...well if ur not tuned for 30psi ur gonna prolly bam off fuel cut....i wouldnt recommend going WOT till u get the car sorted out n then on the dyno u can do more damage then good...

Alright, it puffs out dark grey smoke. and remember how I said it tries to die after hitting boost? well after it tries to die, and it picks itself back up, the smoking happens. Its just for a seconds, like a puff.
and yeah, If I dont floor it or stay on the gas, I can shift and whatever PSI I want.
And it's a Perrin Pro MBC...

i would say possibly turbo, ur next step is to do a compression test on the 4 cylinders and possibly a leakdown test....then as long as those 2 check out, then i would check the turbo. check for shaft play....

Edit: If its grey smoke then it is not running really too rich, I agree, check for shaft play on the turbo. If you don't know what a compression test or leakdown test are, take it to a reputable shop and tell them to perform them. They are going to tell you if the headgasket is blown, or if your motor is on the way out.

Oh, and at 30 psi, if you plan to keep it there you might want to consider headstuds. You are going to put some serious stress on the head and possibly lift it at those pressures. Did you check your coolant either in the overflow or in the rad, does it have a brown or black color to it? If it does, then your too late and you've already lifted the head.
HKS 272 cams...
And It just doesnt seem likean ENGINE problem cause everything changes just by adjusting the boost controller...i dont understand why...
and Well I know running Rich is mad, but I was told not to get a tune till I figure out whats wrong, but what if a tune is what IS wrong?

Do you have a Tatrix cable and Evo Scan and ECU flash? If you take a log of it we might be able to help remedy the problem. I am not a good tuner, but I know people on the forums here could help out and probably solve it. If I were you, I would take a log of it using the cable, and send it to a reputable E-mail tuner or someone and see what they think, I bet they could work wonders. Get a wideband too, it will help them tune it and can prove that you could be in a really rich running scenario.
Do yourself a favor though and dont get on it, or explore the RPM band, take it easy and only run it when necessary. This is just a precaution until you get it back in good order.

Not a bad suggestion to remove the MBC and just run wastegate pressure for the time being... Don't want to overboost for too long and too high, or you could do more harm then good playing with it..
Okay, so go online and get EvoScan, its cheap and will prove useful in this and many situations down the line. Also ECUflash is free, go online and download it. I would find a good e-mail tuner on here, I chose Jestr when I first started out, but there are many on here who can help. I have heard good things about Mellon too. Take a log of it with EvoScan and drop them a PM.
Ok I knew this turbo/tuning scene...
I wouldn't know what to do after I downloaded evoscan or ECUflash..
I'm sorry Im such a noob lol but whats a log and how Do i do it or whatever... FML
