It looks like next Wednesday is the install day for the head and cams with a new tune to follow. 35psi, conservative timing on E70 with dyno #s to follow

^ Please tell me why you thought the 280s were to much for your setup? I think you are crazy and dumb at best, for selling the 280s. You sig doesn't say what turbo yo have but I assume a 35r+ You should be running a 280.

you said you were more interested in top end, so it makes me wonder why you would think 280 is too much.. and with your worked head and mods to sustain air flow, it seemed like the best option for you.. I personally wanted the mid range, so I felt like the BF272's were my best option at the time... but to each their own, hope you're happy.. I wouldn't be surprised if you go back to the 280's though, based on your input earlier..

I would go for a cam swap too and get a pair of Kelford 272's or 280's they are great on the street and on the track, you might want to upgrade your valve train too just to be on the safe side....if you want to go for the intake mani AMS is top notch but check out JM Fabrications intake manis as well

I do want good top end but decided that sacrificing spool and low/mid range power isn't worth the peak gains. If I was running a larger turbo than the HTA 3582r I definitely would have stayed with the 280s. I think the Kelford 272s will suit my setup nicely

I did end up buying an aftermarket intake manifold. I bought the Buschur fabricated intake mani. I'm pretty anxious to see the power gains with the new Headgames race head, Kelford 272s, and Buschur fab intake mani
