Thanks guys

We still have the DSM love around our shop

One thing about the turbo I will warn you about is its loud while normal driving. Semi trucks might be Jealous.

Here are some pics of it on the car

Lucas what turbo were you on before this one?

Sorry I've forgotten. How do you compare this to what you had before?

from what I have gathered off forums, the injectors are coming from same place. Bosch. ID has the ability to match latencies. FIC matches flow, but has no way to monitor latencies.

Question would be will you see a difference between the two during tuning? The injectors are obviously leaps and bounds better than any old style injector even without the latencies matched.

Wait my brother was there? lol

Its DSM at its best, soda can/ drink bottle catchcan or overflow. We are going to be doing a small batch of custom catchcans for Lukes, bluemachine, and my car in the near future.

Lucas, thank you for pointing this out!!! Im tired of people claiming that this turbo makes comparable numbers to HTA3586!

Well if it made as much as a Garrett 35R with a nice tubular manifold and Tial housings wouldn't that contradict a lot of theory on headers and turbine housing sizes etc?

Bigger header, larger turbine housing = less back pressure = more VE.

It seems to me the Black is sort of like what you would get out of a 35R with a small turbine A/R? A bit quicker spool, but less peak power potential.

From talking to Jens at FIC and Tom at DSMlink, the injectors are very well engineered by Bosch, and the latencies out of the box should be extremely well matched already. Not to discredit the work that ID has done, but it seems that even the cheaper FIC versions are working very well for everyone who's tried them.

I'd think people would be looking for comparable numbers to the HTA3582, considering they use the same compressor wheel.

I still don't think it will hold the same power up top. But havent seen any back to back to prove or disprove so
