In case anybody is looking for a bolt-on turbo, another competitor to the Tomei ARMS, BBK and FP Red has been released. Stock frame turbo, Inconel exhaust wheel, 417whp on 100-octane with basic bolt ons.

Alfred from TT chimed in on this thread http://www.socalevo.net/index.php?op...&topic=87577.0

Upgrade Price (*Using your existing Evo IX turbo. Compressor and Inconel Turbine wheel upgrade) $1050
*Core must be in good condition. Damaged units do not qualify

Outright Purchase Price (New turbo core. Compressor and Inconel Turbine wheel upgrade) $1550

About the same power level as a Red but a couple hundred bucks less

actually sounds more like the power equivalent of the SST from map.

I dont think so! I think its aimed for those looking for FP's Red.. Look at the power, boost, and even the graphs to see it

What I see here is a turbo b/w the BBK and Red.. The Max spools is around 4.3-4.5K which is good!!! and the output looks promising!!

If anyone knows more about this turbo, please chime in

Yes, the turbo is very close to a Red. Similar spool and power characteristics. For any more details, just contact Tuning Technologies directly, 909-783-1200.

Interesting...I would like to see more dyno & some track results from this turbo...I think the 2 tests that people would want to see would be straight 93 or 91 oct. & e85, seems to be the 2 most common fuels used now...It SEEMS to be maybe a little bigger then the BBK Full & SST from MAP but smaller then the FPRed...either way I'm in for more results...

He said in his post that they have been testing it for about 2 months to ensure long term reliability, 2 months is a long way from long term to me. I hope it has more than just a couple months testing on it.

Its really poor that no one responsible for marketing this product in here!!!

This might be a great turbo, but the fact that no one is exhibiting it might ruin it since no one is going to actually know it!!!

Mystery turbos without a long time reputable builder warranty don't have much attraction for me...
