Which clutch to pick?

Hi, im looking for some info on which clutch to use. I know there are plenty of reviews and setups on here and after about a week of searching I haven't come up with anything. I'm looking for a cluth that will handle hard driving but also be acceptable to daily driving. I just got the car about a month ago and the clutch was gone already. The plans for the car are full bolt ons and a tune. I'm really intrested in the Exedy stage 2 single disc and a light weight flywheel(any suggestions would be nice). I've only got about $1300 to spend on the clutch system.

Thanks,
rschanaman

Exedy stage 2 is supposed to be a terrible DD. If you will be under 400wtq you want a Exedy Stage 1 or if over that you want a Twin HD but that is ~1300 at best without install. Budget 600-800 for the install if you wont do it yourself. I am in similar shoes to yourself. FYI, you will need to use the search button a ton. I am more sympathetic than most and a newbie getting heavily flamed for a thread like this (regardless of how legitimate) is not uncommon. Most things like this have been covered before so if you do not have a specific or intricate question, try to avoid starting a new thread. Welcome to EvoM

why do people suggest twin disk for mildly modded/stock cars.my single disk comp stage 4 clutch handled 440 ft lbs of torque with no problem.

Thanks for the help. I did use the search button but may have been a little to specific. I also want a new clutch so I know that it has been broken in properly, but thanks for the suggestion. As for the Exedy stage 1 those only come in organic right?

Its based on the plans for the car, did you read my post? You posted the same thing in my thread. It is a widely used, strong, nearly stock feel clutch that holds huge power. Yes it is expensive, but I have nearly resigned myself that it is the best way to go, period. Even if your power is not at the limits, the sheer mass of it will hold more heat than a single plate. It may not be the best choice for every situation, but it seems to be a very good one for nearly every case.
