Well it happened again.. i just have no luck
Well i was having a good day won a good race with my friend's stage 3 w/ xtra mods in his s4....
Went to Atco Raceway....
well on my 1st pass... i shift to 4th and my clutch would not go back up so i let off in the mid of 4th maybe closer to 5-6k rpm....i got pissed and threw my helmet at my windshield.....
when i went to get my timeslip i got pissed and threw my helmet against my windshield again... i ran 12.1@113 with more rpms left in 4th... i was pissed.. im soo damn sure i would have ran 12.0 and maybe 11.9.... ****ing ****.. i cant believe my brand new SECOND Exedy Twin Plate broke......i just have no luck

Im tellin ya gerard.....something originally got messed up when you had the first exedy put in.
This second time around, the problem wasnt fixed, and thats why you are back in the same position again. Hopefully the shop its @ now will get it right, and make sure that this stupid problem happens again.

BY the way Rollaway, sorry to hear about the clutch. I would've done the job for you but you chose no to. If the clip on the pressure plate is set wrong the clip breaks and the clutch is no longer. It takes either luck or a good tech to do the job right. I have a HKS clutch and I must say that there design is leagues away from a stock/exedy setup. The quality in design for the HKS is just superb and the pedal is lighter than stock, not grabby like the EXEDY either. Good luck!

Sorry to hear about it man; those of us who test these cars are going to keep breaking things. Pay no attention to the brand loyalists, the Exedy is a kick-*** unit - but it does take a competent person to install properly.
