you guys are not driving your cars right. Do not listen to the idiot that said, "slip your clutch out slow". That burns the hell out of your clutch. Take it from me, i installed my own clutch on MY EVO.
On a stock clutch, maybe. Stock disc will cook if U try to slip it out.

On the HKS GD Max, you HAVE to slip it out. I've tried all different ways of launching, and I found that the ONLY way to launch the GD Max correctly is to rev the engine top high rpm, let it out a little, right before the friction point, and slip it out enough so that the *** end of the car squats. When that happens, floor the gas and let off the clutch. If you try to slip it out like a normal clutch, the car will move forward then bog. If you try dumping it out, the car will chirp tires and bog. Sounds weird, but that's the way GD Max's are. U can dump it out at 8Krpm and the car won't shoot. It'll chirp then bog.

My GD Max feels a little funky at the moment. I think the pressure plate wants to let go. When in 1st gear, car already starts to creep forward, even with clutch pedal all the way down. Clutch pedal lost pressure too. Feels lighter than it used to be.

What is wrong with a car with just the dynoflash running 12's? I would expect it considering a stock Evo can run 13.3-13.0 in the quarter anyway.

Hey, what's up? Heard some nice things about you as well.

Let me know when your car is back together. My car is semi-assed out right now too. Should be 100% in a week or so.
