Clutch problem!!

Alright, so my clutch finally went out on me. But i need help. Clutch has been slipping for awhile now but i had to drive it and was saving up for my clutch but today while starting the car and trying to reverse, the clutch pedal just went all the way down and it wont go up anymore unless you pull it back up and it just keeps doing that now. Oh, and some liquid was leaking out of somewhere. So did my clutch really go out on me? Please help. If you have something mean to say. This is not the right place for you. Thanks.

check your clutch lines . they might be broken or loose at one of the fittings. that fluid that you are seeing is dot 4 brake fluid that the clutch's system uses.

If fluids are leaking, that would def. be your problem with your clutch pedal not engaging. Once your clutch finally gives out, you won't be able to move at all lol...

while you're at it might as well replace the rubber portion of the clutch line with a slainless steel one and also take the restrictor out of the slave cylinder.

You have a leak in the hydraulic lines on your clutch. That's what the fluid is. It's a closed system and should not leak. You have to fix the leak, replace the missing fluid, and bleed the air from the system.

Once that is done your pedal should return to it's position and operated normally. Of course that won't make your clutch not slip, but your pedal and the TB/pressure plate system should still function.

What will happen is your clutch will first start to slip in 5th gear under acceleration. Then after a while it will start to slip in 4th gear, then third, on and on until you can no longer start it off in first because all it does is slip. The gears are progressively harder for the clutch as you go up. Initially first and second aren't a problem even on a slipping clutch.

remove the battery and the battery tray, you will see the line coming from the booster.

Is the booster down where the transmission is or where it goes up the that black circle thing behind the battery?
