It looks like the reason that manifold fits is b/c they swapped the a/c condensor w/ one from an eg civic. Anyway to keep the factory condensor and FF mani? Also, it seems like every FF setup I see is rockin' a 6262...Why is that?

Forget all the others who make manifolds......i got mine from tab-fabrication. They have bad a** welds! They are very reasonably priced and it flows very well. Look at their website at some samples they have done. Talk to Trevor, he is very experienced with DSM's and a very good guy. He wont try to sell you like all the others, he will just tell you the facts and let you decide on what you want. look him up on this site, his user name is tbtalon94.

the design of a manifold is key.

Check in to Rons back ground.

And check in to your other manifold designers backgrounds.

Now consider which individual has the history and know how to manufacture something of quality acceptable for space flight...

+1.. There are millions of guys who can lay down a sweet weld.. What matters is the design, the finish work inside and the R&D that was done to get them where they are today.. Most of the Quickest & FASTEST evos run Shearer manifolds..

"There is no simple single answer to "best" tubular manifold. First you need to decide what turbo you're going to run. You mentioned Red, Black, etc. None of those require a tubular manifold and the cost to benefit ratio on them is somewhat questionable. The Full Race stock replacemrnt tubular manifold has been shown to provide gains however.

On to t3/t4 tubular manifolds...
Shearer, Full Race, ETS, AMS, are some of the popular ones that come to mind, as well as often overlooked others like JM Fabrications and AFI turbo. In terms of value I think that ETS and AFI are pretty hard to beat, but any of those mentioned has been tried and proven to produce huge power. Full Race quality and design are certainly second to none, but IMO "made by robots" does not necessarily mean that a manifold is superior to one crafted by an experienced artisan welder with decades of experience building race manifolds.

There are different schools of thought on manifold runner design such as runner length and wall thickness, and every fabricator has their own reasons for choosing their design. Big power can be made with any of these, but I suggest you dont worry about the looks of long runners so much as think about WHY long runners would benefit your power goals or not. In addition, wastegate placement is another area worth consideration that varies from one design to another.

I suggest you decide on your exact goals, research what setups have been used to achieve them, talk to some fabricators and find out what their turnaround time and value is, and choose accordingly instead of just trying to figire out which manifold is "best."

If your going all out drag then I would go t4 for sure.

All of the front facing turbos need A/C Removal, but CBRD might be able to come up with something for you if you decide to take the FF turbo route.
On e85 and high boost, not pump gas

I think if all the big names ETS, Shearer, AMS, AFI, Full Race, TT etc... were tested back to back you'd be real hard pressed to see any power difference.

Go with the company that makes ya feel good.

All of the above mani's carry a lifetime warranty so

my major problem with fullrace is.. its not visually pleasing.. if it performed the same as shearers... it just looks like a pile of spaghetti...

rons is true uniform artwork.
