sigh. i say just go with the design and manifold that fits your budget. The best manifold is the one you can afford with out breaking the bank period

what it comes to manifolds nothing beats full-race. If you know anything about the whole import tuner scene you would know full-race is on top when it comes to turbo manifolds.

heres a pic of my fullrace manifold

^^^ that thing looks more like a hot mess then the new hotness.

But for some reason you have a t4 twin scroll... making a whole 392 hp....

did you want a full race so bad as to go all cockeye'd in to the modification scene?!

With a signature like yours -- jumping neck deep in this conversation... its not a positive note for full race..

Just to add fuel to the fire for philthy, James Reese's evo, which is a road course setup, runs a shearer manifold and it is the quickest in the Nation on street tires...just some food for thought.

Oh boy you all are too much

Point is Buschurs fleet of 9 sec cars will likely run the same damn times and make the same damn power with any other mani from the big guys. PERIOD

Buschur uses Shearer manis lets face it they are a work of art and perform. But don't think for a min that an ETS, Full Race, JM, AFI, AMS pieces are inferior and will not perform the same

AMS still has the quickest Evo at 8.42 as far as I recall but their car uses a different manifold than their kits use. My only beef with their t3 manifold is that it uses a 5 bolt housing and has the wg on the o2 housing. Their t4 twin scroll manifold uses dual wg of the collector which is nice.

Do you know anything about manifold design?

i run full-race. my car makes good power. but its been running like **** so i have not posted anything about my setup or hit the track. it has nothing to do with the manifold though. imo fullrace is best. i do wish for a few changes from fullrace but hey what i have is working and working awesome. will someone elses manifold work better? who knows. imo they will all be very close as i feel its not going to make much of a difference because if the manifold is designed right its up to the rest of the car to make the power.

AMS has the quickest 4G64 powered Evo.

AWD Motorsports has the quickest 4G63 powered Evo.

In regards to this subject....opinions are like azzholes, everyone is going to have one. Personally it's Shearer or Full Race for me.

i could be wrong on both accounts but i beleave Dog Box Racing went 8.7 at 170 on a 2.0 OR it could of been a 2.1 i dont not know for sure.

but he runs his own custom header

Like we need more of that in this thread...

Shearer makes a quality product, as do all of the top brands... People were pointing to drag times as validation to support their sponsor and/or desired preference - I was just pointing out that the fastest drag and road race car don't use one particular brand and exposing the flaw in their presented argument.

The forward facing kits, from any of the current offerings make for a great drag setup, but these are not street and/or road race setups - it's a far stretch to anyone that claims they are but to each their own.

I choose Full-Race because their twinscroll setup suited my goals perfectly. Any of the results that I have seen show Full-Race produces a quality product that makes great power... The only test on this site was the stock location manifold test that Dave Buschur did and the Full-Race product was tops in that test... I've also seen tests done on other vehicle platforms (Supra, Honda, etc) and the result was the same, Full-Race came out on top...

Until there is a test against other like kits (single scroll vs single scroll - twinscroll vs twinscroll) it'll all comes down to someone's opinion... A few will resort to intimidation, insults, or chest pounding to back up their opinion, but if you remove all of the dialog, it's just their opinion.

my .02...

Ours and Shearers manifolds seem to work very well. Both have had some very fast cars running them. His more then ours but he has been doing it for a long time. Here is a pic of the only one we offer.
