^ my car seems to be misfiring lately as well, but would it be a good idea to change them until I get a tune? I have an evo 9 too and I know I'm running rich, just don't have the funds to get a tune just yet, so I don't just want to buy new plugs and have them foul out on me

I made another observation today though. It doesn't happen in 1st or 4th gear. I haven't had enough space to try it in 5th but apparently its just 3rd and 2nd. Could that mean anything?
well the only iridiums that come pregapped that i know of are the oem ngks the densos need to be gapped cause they come to wide.you can gap iridiums but you have to not pry against the tip it will break rather carefully pull the top back or tap it gently.

Well I have no mods and my ecu isn't tuned so I'm assuming it was the plugs. I've just come to the conclusion that I'm going to change them and hope this doesn't happen again since that was my first time changing my spark plugs.

Any suggestions on which plugs to get based on what I've said in this thread and where to get them for the best price? Thanks..

What plugs are you using that work in a EVO 9. I looked into it but seemed that none are available.

I would also like to know what copper plugs he's using. I don't mind changing them with every oil change if they're only $20. For 4.

Stock. Still, a spark plug only does one thing. I have a hard time believing you have to use Autolite in Fords or AC in General Motors. There's a lot of hype in spark plugs. MY Subaru is currently running AC plugs.
