Dump tube broke from wastegate
Dump tubes usually crack over time. You have a pipe that is usually 18 inches long with no support not to mention the tubing used for dump tubes is very thin. With a fabricated part like this they will always fail at the weld (HAZ). You could brace your atmosphere dump or route it into the down pipe or just deal with the fact that overtime due to heat, leverage(they all usually crack at the flange) and harmonics it will eventually fail.
Properly welded SS should not break at the weld. A break from impact is a different story. Thats like saying 95% of all manifolds or exhaust systems will do the same both see vibration too. Come on now.
I understand all warranty's are for the original owners just saying a manufacturing defect is just that no matter who built it.

It has nothing to do with that...You can backpurge it, get 100% penetration and over time more than likely it will still break. Unfortunately same goes for manifolds, although it will take ALOT longer if properly built.
