Best pump gas turbo kit

I was thinking about upgrading my turbo...I wanted to know what turbo setup makes the most hp/tq on pump gas. Stock bottom end, stock ecu. Thanks.

CBRD BBK.

There are some other options too. Search around for stock frame pump gas turbos. Lots of info out there.

Turbos dont make just HP on pump gas.. Good combinations , Tuning and setups do.. Maybe search around on the Buschur 9 sec pump gas setup.. here are some examples if you search.. While these are built cars you get an idea of whats involved to make the HP..

Stock frame turbos are limited on pump gas.. Even FP red the largest of them all doesnt make what 35r based turbos make on pump..

Gees...Bushur sure has mastered pump gas setups. Is the 35r the smallest that can make 500whp on pump? The other two they used seem a little bigger...i think?

I was assuming he meant 93.. We usually dont refer to e85 as pump.. Red has made 630whp on E85 also..

Depends on what you want. Sure you can make 500whp on a 35r but all that power is from 5k up. Slap a BBK or similar on, make 400whp+ and have a lot more enjoyable of a car on the street IMO. If your building a highway or 1/4 mile car then get the big turbo.

I have read 5 different threads on this exact same question just tonight. I think you are looking for an FP green HTA 73, Red, BBK, Tomei ARMS.... they are all stock looking turbos, but have been doing real well on pump. I just named a few, but there are so many kits out there now, that its all going to depend on what you're looking for in driveability.

i think my main concern is power. Im not going to be running high boost all the time, but I really would like to make near 500whp on pump for the faster cars. I either drag or roll race...

fixed

check out a couple of t3 style turbos they should meet your needs, also with some of the stock ecu advancements being made you can now map switch so you could always have a low and high boost map for that special occasion
