How does the Red compare to a 35r kit that retains the stock exhaust manifold like the one Buschur or ATP sells? I've been leaning towards a kit like that over the Red since they don't seem to be quite as laggy as the tubular manifolds, and on paper seem to make more power than the Red. They also come as complete kits as opposed to the Red being nearly two grand for the turbo only.

I didn't know that there are Garrett turbo's that fit the OEM....wouldn't a turbo sized similar to a FPRed outperform it. I'm no where close to being smart enough to figure that out. The price is similar or cheaper then the red?

Buschur sells a kit similar to the ATP kit but it requires a slim fan which is included in the kit. Buschur's kit also comes with a manifold while the one from ATP does not. I've been in two Evo's that had the kit from Buschur and they hit HARD! Yeah they were laggy but that didn't bother me due to the way the cars pulled once boost hit.
