Sure I guess I will do that for you You think we could get the shifter powdercoated crimson like the valve cover? Is it going to be hollow to save weight?

hi guys
we've had the shifter in our car for about a week now and i'm pleased with the results. i think were at a 25% reduction in throw. we might be able to nudge it up a little more but its pretty damn short now!. best of all there is 0, ZERO, hacking that needs to be done on the basket to use this shifter!!!
i should have the majority of the shifters back from the plate shop late next week then i'll post on the vendor forum when i have them back here. i'm looking for a good source for the plastic part on top of the shifter so you wont have to get them from the dealer

I wonder with a short shifter if it will be harder to shift, with all of the tranny prob's that we already have. Going into 2nd has gotten better for me since the miles have been added its still a little rough, but just curious to see what ppl with the problems will say....clutch/tranny...etc..

Where do you get replacement bushing at? I know seems like a newb question, but I am planning on getting the Kartboy SS with Knob, but I want to replace the bushing while I do the install.

Unless I should wait for Kartboy bushings...hrm.

Does getting a SS and new bushings elliminate the plastic clunk sound you get with the stock shifter when you shift into 2nd , 4th and reverse?
