turbos are doin my head in!!!

ok guys im having troubles with tuning....i have an e9 20g on my 2.4 and id really like to keep it that way cos i just love the responce it has....its got 215kw with 15psi at 2300rpm...now we are having trouble getting boost in to it, anything over 16psi and the car is hating life.....everyone is telling me YOU NEED A BIGGER TURBO!!!! some are sickened with the turbo size it has but the thing is i love it.....i hear of alot of strokers and 2.4s with 20gs and it seems to work, i used to have an e820g on it and it was fine at 25 psi and making more power throughout the revrange HOWEVER im starting to think i need to buy a bigger and better suited turbo.....im having trouble deciding which way to go... , and there is not a great deal of 2.4s around here......hears a list of what im considering
fp black /stock like responce
fpred /stock like responce
gt35r/ how responsive can these be????
gt3076r/ how responsive are these??
evogold
opinions? im stumped

i really dont see why we would have this problem with a 20g anyone else heard of 20gs being too small for strokers??

I don't think it being to small is a issue. I could be wrong but it would be news to me. something else is going on. If you want good response like that you probably wont like a gt35r(prob 4600rpm spool) and 3076 isn't worth it with turbos like the red and black that make the same power with better spool.

For you go with RED i think you'll be the happiest.

evogold???? WHats that? If you can't boost above 16PSI then you have something else going on. Fix that first and then see if you dont like it. OEM crushed BOV? Anything else changed. Whats the full list of mods?

My experiance with the Stroker especially at alititude is that it needs to flow exhaust Gas because thats the choake point / bottle neck...

Big Turbine wheels / Big exhaust housings it seems to love this

Less boost = more power on Pump Gas with bigger turbo's

;-)
