evo IX mr needs help, please!

For the recent few days, i felt there is something wrong with my evo. If i start to floor it around 3500 rpm, the rpm climbs rapidly until the boost hits about 1.1 bar, then the boost meter drops, and the increase in rpm suddenly slows down (this happens normally around 4500 rpm). Then after a fraction of a second, the boost comes back again and gradually increases to 1.3`1.4 bar, the rpm climbs quickly as the boost increases.
It has never happened on my evo before, it almost feel like there are 2 stages. Has anyone ever experienced the same issue? Can anyone tell me what's causing it? thx

Do you get an rpm bump after you let off the throttle after a WOT pull to above 4500?

yes, i still get an rpm bump after i let off the throttle after a WOT pull. But it happens around a lower rpm after a steady pull.

It sounds like you def have a boost leak then, more then likely your throttle body seals, Do a boost leak check.

He said the car feels like it has two stages of boost, the clutch would dlip and then grab again if he was still under throttle.
