help-car severely lacking power

If you have a boost gauge then you would know if the turbo is dead. If you dont have one then it could be making no boost.. thus the low power.

I borrowed one when I installed the FP actuator because I had thought the wg actuator had gone out. It was reading 19 psi but the power was just not there at all. However, this was back in June...and the power is still the same. I'm not ruling out the turbo being shot either though, I'm just wondering if there is other reasons, along with the turbo, for my severe lack in power.

if the boost line is disconnected the vaccum should be around 0-4 and not 16-20

if lots of oil is coming out of the breather and into the intake it could be very worn/broken piston rings or a broken ring land on a piston. my mates turbo primera displayed similar symptoms when he broke a ring land
