boost controller recommendation

boost controller recommendation

what boost controller would you guys recommend? Greddy Profec B II , AEM tru boost, manual , or blitz? , im thinking of buying the profec b , any ideas? its on an EVO 4

I had the Greedy and I hated it. I blew two solenoids and it was a pain to use. Now I use the Blitz and I love it. Haven't had any issues with it yet.

I like the tru-boost. I run what, 26-28 psi. It's good to 30 then you have to get some additional solenoid. It was fairly cheap too I recall, like $220-230 I think.

my personal choice: hallman pro if im going simple... hks evc if i got the cash

I have the evc runnin 24 psi and I'm very happy with it. install is fairly simple and looks great IMO

I know the clicking from the electronic ones annoys me! Cant beat a manual its cheap. Pick up a forge unos for 50 bucks

As far as MBC
Hallman pro all the way.
I had 2 different Forge unos-with heavy springs, and it would spike and drop almost 9-10 psi up top.
The Hallman only dropped 2-3 psi.

If you have really deep pockets.

Hallman does work good and is easy. I am taking mine off soon and going ecu controlled boost.

The evc is a total waste ever since we can do ecu controlled boost.

I wonder if its available for your rom?...
